Outstanding performance from the Knights today in extremely warm conditions that we’re certainly not used to!

A brilliant 32-0 victory over Oulton Raiders and a performance that showed exactly what this team is all about. From the first whistle, the Knights played with intensity, discipline and determination, completely outclassing the opposition.

The high kicks in the first half laid the foundations for the win, and the kick chase was outstanding all game, putting Oulton Raiders under pressure at every opportunity.

We were powerful in attack and absolutely relentless in defence. One of the standout moments came when the Raiders looked certain to score, only for the Knights to produce a superb interception and race the full length of the field for a fantastic try!

Every single player played their part today, showing great teamwork, effort and commitment from start to finish.

Another huge team performance and another result to be proud of. Keep working hard and enjoying the journey!

Normanton Knights U14s 26 – 6 Drighlington U14s

Normanton Knights were back to their normal selves this week, showing the quality and class they possess when it comes to playing rugby league. A strong all-round performance saw the Knights secure an impressive 26-6 victory over Drighlington U14s.

The tries came from Jayden, KD, Frazer, Harvey and Abel, with each player making their mark on the scoreboard. The goal kicking duties were shared, with successful conversions coming from Stevey, Frazer and Mason.

While the attack was exciting to watch, it was the Knights’ defence that really stood out. The team spent long periods defending in their own half but showed tremendous resilience, discipline and determination to keep Drighlington at bay. Time and time again the players dug deep, working together to repel wave after wave of attack.

It was a complete team performance, with every player contributing to a well-deserved win. The commitment, effort and teamwork on display were a credit to the squad and showed exactly what this group is capable of when they play to their strengths.

A fantastic result for the Knights and plenty of positives to take into the next fixture.

Tonight marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as our players officially start signing with their chosen scholarship clubs.

This is a fantastic achievement for the boys, their families, and everyone involved at Normanton Knights. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment have earned them these opportunities, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they have accomplished.

Normanton Knights vs Kippax Welfare – Match Report

A strong challenge awaited the Knights today as Kippax Welfare arrived ready to compete, and they certainly made the Knights work for every point. In what was a closely contested and evenly matched game, both teams produced a great display of rugby league from start to finish.

The Knights showed plenty of determination, continually pushing forward and sticking to their game plan. The forwards laid the foundation with a tough and hardworking performance through the middle, setting the platform for the backs to take advantage when opportunities came their way.

Teamwork and effort were the key ingredients in securing another victory, with every player contributing to the result. Despite Kippax Welfare’s resilience and commitment throughout the match, the Knights kept their composure and found a way to get the win.

Special mentions go to today’s try scorers Tahi, Frazer, KD and Jacob, while Mason added a goal to help the Knights on the scoreboard.

Most importantly, this was another excellent team performance and a reward for the hard work being put in by the squad. Two wins in a week is a fantastic achievement and shows the progress this group is making.

Well done to both teams for an entertaining game and a great example of junior rugby league. Up the Knights!
