🫀 Cardiac Screening Day
📅 Saturday 12th December 2026
📍 Kilclief Ben Dearg GAC

As part of our ongoing commitment to player welfare and health and wellbeing, Kilclief Ben Dearg GAC has provisionally booked a Cardiac Screening Day for club members aged 14 years and over.

The aim of the initiative is to help identify potential heart conditions that may otherwise go unnoticed and to provide reassurance for players, members and families. Screening will be carried out by qualified cardiac physiologists, with all results reviewed by a consultant cardiologist.

The screening includes:
• Health screening questionnaire
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Blood pressure check

Where required, follow-up tests such as an echocardiogram or heart monitor will be provided at no additional cost.
The cost will be approximately £45 per person and the screening is open to anyone aged 14 and over. Those under 16 will require parental consent.

This initiative forms part of our wider focus on player welfare and community wellbeing. We anticipate slots will fill up fast.
