And a very good morning to one and all,
After the Hors d’oeuvres of last weeks British Isles event we are back to the main course of The Stadiums league matches and some vital games are in the offing.
At 11:30 Scot 🏴 John Hagan will be looking to step into the shoes of Foster and Anderson when he faces John Stewart with Bea Lecky alongside him fresh from her successful international series performances.
Can Jim McMullan upset Janet Hamilton and Peter Grahame’s plans for world domination and a title win? He and his rink have the ability to do so?
In the men’s 2pm rinks Andy Panayotou and Harry Sproule play each other, whilst not a top of the table clash it’s extremely important to both teams.
The same can be said of the Hall and McClure game, the two are only separated by two points so a win for either can make a huge difference to their season.
7pm and I fancy that the Michael Brown and Richard Faulkner match will be tight. With a little bit more luck both teams could and arguably should be further up the table, the talent is there.
Robin Stanix will be determined to give our future young stars 🌟 a run for their money, always a pleasure to see Robin and his band of merry men at the club, can they ambush 💘 the Sheriff of Dumbarton, Shea Trainor and Co and take the spoils? Either way it should be a great contest.
The Ocean league is back on the top green and also take a bottom green rink too. Even at this stage of the season there are debuts being made.
What a massive success this competition has been, with collective wills to win alongside great sportsmanship, laughs,touchers and wrong bias, good luck to you all.
Don’t forget it’s our Free OPEN DAY on Sunday, it’s a great opportunity to bring down anyone you know who might wish to give our great game a go, they only need flat sole shoes.
