ARDS Rugby Boys' Youth The Youth Section of Ards Rugby Club, Hamilton Park, Newtownards. Training - Monday & Wednesday 19.00-20.45.

Offering boys the opportunity to play, experience, enjoy and develop rugby skills in U12, U14, U16 & U18 teams.

Our U18 captain is now a senior player!
Congratulations Billy, and thank you for all your dedication to the section.
While Billy is graduating we won't be losing him however, as he will continue on as an assistant coach and affiliate referee with the youth section next year.

⚫️⚪️ PATHWAY PLAYER ⚫️⚪️

We’re delighted to see Billy Spiers continue his rugby journey at Hamilton Park as part of the senior squad for the 2026/27 season 💥

A versatile front rower, Billy has been part of the Ards Rugby family since joining the club at Under-12 level and has progressed through every age group on the pathway to senior rugby.

Alongside his club rugby, Billy played his schools rugby with Strangford College through to Year 12 and captained the Ards U18 side during the 2025/26 season 👏

Billy is a familiar face around Hamilton Park, regularly helping at mini rugby camps and contributing to club life off the pitch, embodying the values and community spirit that make Ards Rugby such a special place ⚫️⚪️

We’re excited to see Billy take the next step in his rugby journey and continue his development in black and white 👊
