A technically very challenging swim made possible by the skilled pilotage of David Hughes who has sailed, kayaked and has well over 40 years of knowledge of this area.

Thank you to Belfast Coastguard, Strangford Lough Ferry and to Ringhaddy Cruising Club for their cooperation and hospitality.

This is a dream swim for Grace. She knew it wouldn’t be easy. Starting out calm then mostly chop with a crescendo of swim speeds recorded at 10 to 11 KPH. Topped with a synchronised dolphin display.

Would take an experienced swimmer to tackle this one and we are sure there are plenty out there who would be interested in taking it on with us.

James recently had the opportunity to spend time at the Commonwealth Games as part of the Commonwealth Futures Coaching Programme.

It was a fantastic learning experience, bringing together coaches from a wide range of sports to share knowledge, experiences and best practice in high-performance coaching.

Every opportunity to learn, collaborate and challenge our thinking helps us become better coaches. We’re excited to bring those lessons back to our NGBs as we continue to develop athletes capable of performing on the national and international stage.
