A huge congratulations to members Harry and Gracie Hamilton who both got drafted onto Premier Pickleball League teams in the premier division for the upcoming season. Harry has progressed from winning the challenger division with his team last year and Gracie continues to excel in premier. All at Ards will be watching you guys on the streams throughout the season. 💪🏼

Members and friends of the club swapped paddles for hockey sticks for the third year in a row. Team Pickle Pals topped their group during the round robin stage of Donaghadee Ladies hockey ‘Stick it to cancer sixes’ and went on to win the quarterfinal before falling to the eventual winners (and previous title holders) in the semis. A great day out supporting 2 very important charities. The craic on the pitch was nearly as good as off the pitch! We couldn’t go somewhere without paddles and a net too, a great warm up for the team with some other teams having a go playing pickle in between games too. Shin pads and sticks safely tucked away for another 12 months, roll on 2027 🏆.

A full house on Friday evening for our Annual Club Quiz. Many thanks to Matt Bishop for the superb job of Quizmaster. A fun evening in great surroundings spending time together off court. Thanks to all who helped organise, support and make the event happen. The ballot raised a staggering £290 for Childrens Heartbeat Trust in Belfast.
