When you are only looking for a change in numbers you miss the bigger picture.

Even though since September 2021 the total loss of bodyweight here is 2 stone or 12.7kg

During this period there have been many weeks with no difference on the scales.

However, over time there has been a clear change in body composition.

Shape, Muscle size, Body measurements.

In total there are 13.5 inches off this body

Measuring from the Hips, waist, arms and thighs.

With 3 inches off the butt 4 of the waist ๐Ÿ˜

However, while losing weight and building a strong athletic body it's not just the muscle that is built.

It's the strong habits you now have.

The strong focus in life and career that comes from being fit, healthy and driven towards your best self.

It's being strong emotionally, mentally and physically.

The strong confidence.

The strong self-esteem.

The strong health and values.

The strong determination.

The strong well-being.

A strong understanding of nutrition.

The strength ability.

Here's a sobering statistic from April 2017: ๐Ÿต๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ of people who lose a lot of weight eventually regain just about all of it.

Why is that you might ask?

I believe it is because they truly don't change who they were.

The struggles once again creep back in.

The desperation from not being able to wear the outfit that you want to.

The feeling of not loving your body and what it can do for you.

The saying ๐—ก๐—ผ to taking your top off or to the Bikini you want to wear instead of ๐—ฌ๐—ฒ๐˜€.

There is no simple answer.

You have to follow a process.

You have to fail some weeks and succeed in others.

You have to change your approach as it simply isn't working for you.

You have to get good at accepting the uncomfortable from time to time.

You must slowly change the process that brought you to this point in your life in teh first place.

Why now?

Ask yourself what are the consequences of putting it off any longer?

Perhaps you keep telling yourself you'll start after this event.

Next week.

Next Month.

The new year.

I am creating structure in people's lives.

Sometimes when you become so focused on the plan ahead, you can leave a trail of destruction behind you.

Unfortunately, your health and the people close to us suffer as a result.

However, I am finding there is always deadtime you can capitalise on.

Somewhere in your day, you can take a chance to gain the advantage.

To get there you need to be called out on it.

Or potentially you'll be using the same excuses and facing the same obstacles for the rest of your life.

The sense of achievement when you grasp an opportunity becomes an addiction.

The energy you actually gain when you put the time into yourself instead of constantly consuming other people's content.

Business owners needs to be sharp to strive and make good decisions.

For this being fit and healthy is a no brainer.

Whether that is getting up early to train when you know you have time or going straight to plan B and getting it in late at night when everything else is finished for the day.

Regardless you should be doing it and not Yo-Yoing your health and fitness all your life.

One week good, followed by 2-3 weeks half ass.

My client told me he has now started prioritising time to organise his work and training together in his dairy as before it was a mess.

Some of that meant completing it late in the evening after family stuff but he got it done rather than sloping off to the fridge because he was tired.

He also got his other half involved and explained what his plans were and why.

This led to her regular question of

"Have you got your reps in yet Bob?"

Reps aren't just training either, it's nutrition, sleep health, self care, planning and systems.

You've committed yourself to something.

You want to become your better self so don't half-ass it.

This week I am putting my weight loss strategy to work.

I have to lose 3kg for my BJJ competition this Saturday 23rd April.

I must weigh in at 97.5kg, below or face disqualification.

Not ideal to have left that amount of weight to lose this late although it will be mainly water retention and will shift pretty fast.

This is my shape generally year round and I eat alot.

So 3kg lighter I'll be feeling pretty lean.

I'm very active and lately when I'm in 5th gear my weekly training has been

๐Ÿ‘‰2 strength sessions.
๐Ÿ‘‰1 sprint session.
๐Ÿ‘‰2-3 BJJ sessions.
+ Some bonus reps when the opportunity appears I always take it, usually practicing a skill or weakness I need to work on.

I hope you will be ravaging everything you can get your hands and enjoying time with your friends and family.

Talking walks, watching movies, playing board games, eating chocolate, having lots of fun and getting your reps in obviously.

I encourage to let go a little and just go for it.

Too many to put on one post.

So I'll start with Phil's words and then create a video of all his progress over the past 3 years to his Health and Fitness with FF.

I love to hear about him having to throw out old clothes that don't fit anymore.

I love to see first-hand and video feedback on his improvement in all his training.

Weight loss, Strength, Muscle building and Mobility gains.

I love to see him out getting his reps done in the dark.

His jokes and passion to help others.

Always Inspiring, always learning and never giving up!
