Highland Rugby Club - U16 Belfast Tour

A massive Thank You to all at Academy Rugby Football Club for hosting our U16's Final match in Belfast.

Some great Rugby on show from both Teams which saw a very close first Half

Highland finally managed to click into gear in the second Half and managed to run out Winners at the Final whistle.

Then it was back to the Clubhouse for some well earned Pizzas and light beverages for the Coaches 🤣

Our reception from the Club's Players Coaches & Management was superb and we can't thank you enough for making our Final Match of our Belfast Tour so memorable.

We hope some great friendships were made and that you maybe find your way to Highland Rugby Football Club one day, you will always be welcome. 👌👏👏👏👏

On Saturday night we were lucky enough to be welcomed to Ulster Rugby Club for a home game!

What a night and what a result - amazing atmosphere! 🏉

On Saturday we also had a very informative visit to the Titanic Museum Attraction.

The boys never fail to make us smile....they even did the signature pose..... 🛳️ ❤️

We have had a busy few days exploring Belfast and on Friday morning we visited Prison Island Belfast!

What a morning, lots of fun had, the boys had a blast.

Safe to say they would be able to get out of a tricky situation if they needed to......

What a Night, our First Touring Match against our Hosts Instonians Rugby Club resulted in Victory for Highland U16s, 46 - 10 at the Final Whistle. The Match was hard fought with the the Hosts proving Tough Opposition in the Second Half. Overall some fantastic Rugby on display from both sides & Congratulations to Highland for some wonderful, free flowing Rugby on show from the whole Team.

Our Hosts were gracious in defeat and provided a wonderful setting in the Clubhouse for Food & Drinks as well as chance for the Boys to interact and analyse the Match & exchange Club gifts during the post Match presentations.Thank you again for your warm welcome, organisation and hospitality.

When we planned this Belfast Tour we wanted to achieve an experience for our Boys that would give them lasting memories of Rugby in another country and a appreciation for the culture. Yesterday was a brilliant example of what Youth Tours are all about and the special ability Rugby has to bring people together, wherever that may be in the World.

A leisurely morning, then a great session at Prison Island Belfast , highly recommend if you're in Belfast. Now some rest before our first Match against Instonians RFC U16 tonight, we're raring to go. 😁👌
