With Ireland taking on the Wallabies in Sydney before lunch, we’re open from 10:45am. Stick around for a full day’s filling of international rugby during the summer drought.

🏉 EUROPEAN CHALLENGE CUP FINAL🏉

Ulster bid to end their 20 year wait for a trophy, taking on Montpellier this Friday night in the Challenge Cup Final! 🏆

Richie Murphy’s young guns will hope to end a transitional season on a high in Bilbao. If you’re not heading to Northern Spain, it’s destination Academy Club..

We’ll be opening the bar for the season finale for what’s sure to be a night that will test the fingernails. We’ll also have the Academy Youth Awards being presented on the night 🦉

CLUB DINNER WEEKEND!

The sun has made a welcome return just in time for the annual dinner season! ☀️

Kicking things off this evening Cliftonville Academy Cricket Club host their preseason dinner prior to tomorrow’s season opener. We wish them well for the season ahead and long may the warm conditions last! 🏏

Tomorrow, Academy Rugby Football Club host their annual festivities as the rugby season comes to a close. Saturday night’s dinner is always the biggest night of the year at the club and we look forward to another successful celebration tomorrow evening! 🏉

Prior to that, we have the small matter of the Forster Cup Final at Ravenhill for Academy v Ballynahinch - what a start to club dinner day! Supporters heading to the game are welcome in the club pre-match from 12:30, with all eyes on Ravenhill from 2:30pm. Best of luck to all involved 🏆

The club will reopen from 5pm with live music from The Rogues and our own Barry Macaulay at 5:30pm 🎶

Looking forward to a marathon weekend up the club!

🏉 SUPER SATURDAY 2026 🏉

The final weekend of Six Nations action is here and what a finale we’re in for! Three crucial matches back to back and all is on the line.

Ireland kick off the day’s action in a straight shootout with Scotland for the Triple Crown (or possibly more?) What better excuse to hit the pub early doors.. Club Bar open from 1:30pm ☘️ 👑

Italy are playing for a triple crown in their own right as they take on Wales in Cardiff aiming for their best ever finish in the tournament. Wales will require a big performance to avoid ending another championship without a win. 🐉 🥄

France v England brings this year’s curtain down in the title decider, can England add to the French woes from last week and provide a rare cameo as the ‘good guys’ for the winners of the clash in Dublin? 🐓🏆

No local league fixtures this week which leaves the door open for a mighty Saturday in front of the club tv’s.

🏉 Round 4 ☘️

Don’t forget we’re open for tonight’s Ireland v Wales clash at the Aviva. Club bar open from 7pm with a sizeable Ulster contingent lining out in green!

Tomorrow we hope our Scottish cousins can repeat their previous Murrayfield performance, this time against the unstoppable French Machine. Can the Azzuri finally turn over England in the late kick off? Open from 1:30pm on Saturday.

🏉 SIX NATIONS - ROUND 3 🏉

Ireland stuttered to victory in Dublin last week, England took a trouncing at Murrayfield. This year’s unpredictable championship resumes Saturday afternoon with the men in green heading across to Twickenham.

Can Ireland build on their victory over the Azzurri or will England strike back with a vengeance? An Irish victory could shake up this years table. Scotland will be looking to build on last week’s triumph with a win in Cardiff in the late kick off.

Wet, windy and sub-£5 pints. Grab a seat at the club from 1:30pm and settle in for the day.

The less said about last week the better…

Ireland kick off this week’s fixtures on their return to Dublin. Plenty of Ulster involvement to be excited about this week - Club Bar open from 1pm ☘️

For those brave enough to venture back out into the elements, the 1st XV meet Monaghan in the league at The Fort in a rearranged fixture, whilst the 2nd XV take on Larne - 2:30 KO

Back at the club, we have the Calcutta Cup clash at Murrayfield between Scotland and England at 4:40pm.
