We are working with our friends Movement and Milestones and TMS.themovementstation to help bring new, innovative, inclusive Movement opportunities to people of all ages and abilities in Newtownabbey. Why movement matters before preschool...

Strong gross motor skills help children:

✅ Sit upright at circle time
✅ Cross the midline when reading and writing
✅ Develop fine motor control
✅ Concentrate for longer
✅ Build confidence in new environments

At Ready Set Pre School, we'll assess:

• Balance
• Coordination
• Core stability
• Body symmetry
• Gross motor skills

Our goal is simple:
To help children develop the physical foundations that support learning.

🎉 From Leader to Coach — meet GymFun's first ever Foundation Coaches, Chloe and Olivia!

Their GymFun journey started on the floor as gymnasts, grew through their Young Leader role, and has now reached an incredible new chapter. Chloe and Olivia are among the very first in the country to complete the brand new British Gymnastics Foundation Coach Award — as part of the official BG pilot course. And they passed with flying colours, all while studying their A Levels. 🙌

We are so proud to see them take this next step and we cannot wait to see them flourish in their coaching roles.

Watch this space — 5 more of our leaders begin this training over the summer. The pathway is working and the GymFun coaching family keeps on growing! 🤸‍♀️✨

🎉 A huge congratulations to Mia McElwaine on achieving her British Gymnastics Level 1 General Gymnastics Coaching Award!

What makes this achievement even more special is that Mia accomplished this while navigating her GCSEs — a real testament to her dedication, passion, and maturity.

At GymFun, we have had the joy of watching Mia grow from gymnast to Young Leader, and now to qualified coach — and we couldn't be prouder of the young woman she is becoming.

Roll on September, Mia — your very own group is waiting for you! 🤸‍♀️✨
