RMNU Ireland was founded in 2013 and is the UK and Irelands first affiliate school under 8 x World Champion Robson Moura and our team is one of the top recognised academies in Northern Ireland and we feature one of the most prestigious gyms in the country with a purpose built Martial Arts Hall and has been referred to as the "Apple Store of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu" with that being said we pride oursel

ves on being humble and welcoming with a keen eye to detail and ensuring that our members feel at home and unintimidated by the sport or people. We’ve got Jeff Mitchell coming through — 4th degree black belt under Robson Moura and head coach at Elite BJJ, Delaware.

If you’ve never trained with Jeff, you’re in for a treat. The man is scary good with details, and he will absolutely level up your game in one session.

All schools and affiliations welcome, no politics, just good jiu jitsu 🤙

Recently we rearranged the timetable with a goal to solidify the team and promote the growth of upper and lower belts alike, with a 50/50 split of white to blue/purple/brown at class tonight!!

When you start out in Brazilian jiu jitsu it can often seem daunting to roll or practice with someone with much more experience but the opposite is true - not only is it part of the culture to give newer folks more time to figure something out, but the control of movement should be safer and thus more enjoyable. But not going to lie - it’s never easier

Coming to a new gym, trying a new sport and being the new face can de daunting but we like to believe we are a friendly lot and super welcoming

After all we all have our ‘remember your first day on the mats’ moment and understand. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a different approach to athleticism - the burst of power can take you back at first and make your anaerobic background seem nonexistent - so the fundamental classes is a great place to begin your journey

With dedicated warm ups, technical instruction and time to practice the (optional) team photo at the end is a kind reminder of your efforts and the people you trained with

We are always happy to see you on the mats so if you are considering something different, check us out Monday and Thursday at 6pm
