We go again this Sunday, as we start hopefully, a good cup run against one of the top teams from Div 2, FC Golborne. I know our lads will give it their all, so fingers crossed!

It's been a weekend of heroics for our Goalkeepers. Quite often an unsung hero. Everyone's quick to judge when the team concede a goal, "he should of done better " , "why did he come out for it" , " why didn't he come out for it" . A great save is as good as a worldie goals at the other end!!

Jack Harrington pulled of a penalty save yesterday and our #1 Alex Chisnall did one better. He got in the head of the first penalty and he missed the target completely, and then he pulled off a worldie and saved their second penalty, thus securing our win.

Aros_kitchen , it seems most of our players pop in the shop after our game to buy your delicious food and then take it to eat in The Victoria, Newton le Willows , whilst watching Televised football . So we finally got the season started!
Our opening game, A Derby !!

EAJFC Hibs vs EAJFC Celtic!

Although we are missing a few players due to injury and holiday we still had a very strong Squad 😍.
We started off very well with some lovely football blended with youth and experience!

10 mins to go, the management decided to make chnage to personel and formation to allow our 2 players on a brace to try for their hatrick. This caused 10 mins of confusion between our lads and they took full advantage. We will learn from our mistakes and not do this again

Well what an anti climax, the day we've been waiting for since the formation of the team finally came.......
And our opponents were a no show.
Having set the pitch up, lads changed into their new kit, warmed up ready to go... 30mins before kick off we found out they wasn't playing.
Frustrated.

But onward and upward to the big derby next week
