The Wigtown Bowling Club Bowling Club situated on the main street of Wigtown with great views of the surrounding hills. All comers welcome.

Open to members and visitors to play Bowls from April to September, seven days a week.

🎉 WOW — JUST OVER £1,400 RAISED! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported the Wigtown Bowling Club Annual Bingo last night.

What a fantastic evening! After paying for the room hire and all our outgoings, we are absolutely delighted to say that we raised just over £1,400 for the club! 👏💚

That really is an amazing result, and it is all down to everyone who came along, bought tickets, joined in the fun and helped make the evening such a success.

The atmosphere was brilliant, and it was lovely to see so many people there. Your continued support of Wigtown Bowling Club really does mean so much to us. Thank you! 💚

Sadly, another bowling season is drawing to a close. Our green closes this Sunday, 13th September, and we’ll be holding our Closing Day from 2pm.

🌿 Everyone is very welcome to come along and join us!

It will be sad to see the green close for another season, but what a lovely way to finish — celebrating another successful year together.

Once again, a huge thank you from everyone at Wigtown Bowling Club. 💚

We really couldn’t do it without you.

Just a little reminder that our next Fundraising Bingo is on:

We’d love to see another great turnout, so come along, bring your friends and enjoy a fun night while supporting Wigtown Bowling Club. 💚

🏆 WIGTOWNSHIRE LADIES FINALS 2026 🏆

What a fantastic 3 evenings of bowls at Wigtown Bowling Club, with some brilliant performances from all of our finalists! 👏💚

🌟Ladies Rinks Final
After 2 consecutive defeats at this title our ladies finally did it a win over Stranraer and a very close game gave them the win

🌟Ladies Triple Final
2nd year in a row, well done to our trio on another very close game against Stranraer.

🌟 Junior Singles Final
A huge congratulations to our very own Ciara Ferguson, who was crowned Wigtownshire Junior Singles Champion! 🏆
Runner-up was Kelsey Paterson of Stranraer. Well done to both girls on a great final. 👏

🌟 Ladies Singles Final
After a very close and hard-fought game, Izzy Graham was crowned the Wigtownshire Ladies Singles Champion for 2026 🏆, with Wigtown's Laura McKie finishing as runner-up after a fantastic performance.

We are incredibly proud to see two of our Wigtown bowlers reaching their respective finals — and Ciara bringing home the Junior title! 💚🏆

Huge congratulations to Ciara, Laura, Kelsey and Izzy on their achievements and some excellent bowling.

💚🏆 A BIG WEEK OF BOWLS FOR WIGTOWN 🏆💚

We’ve got plenty of bowls to look forward to this week, with Wigtown holding the Wigtownshire Ladies Association Finals over three nights, starting at 6.30.

👏 Good luck to all our ladies representing Wigtown.

⭐ And on tonight at 6.30pm, our young bowler Zak Smith takes to the green at West End Bowling Club, where he’ll play Oscar Davidson in the Under 16’s Semi-Final.
Our ladies triples of Morag Lamb, Hazel Matthews and Laura McKie play Stranraer also at 6.30pm
