For this Men's Health Week, we want to encourage all men to reach out to someone they know. Whether you are struggling or not, as men, we rarely know what each other is going through.

Reaching out to someone could make all the difference. Don't suffer in silence, and don't let your friends walk alone.

I did something I’ve always wanted to do since I was a child…

I’ve published a book.

When I was going through the darkest part of the separation from my marriage/relationship of 25 years, I searched endlessly for a specific type of book- something that made me feel less alone.

I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for, so I made myself a promise that one day I would write that book for someone else who might find themselves in that same place.

So I did.

My proof copy arrived today and I’m feeling proud and a little bit nervous all at once.

I wrote this for anyone going through a tough time, especially those finding it hard to see a future beyond the dark place they’re in right now.

It’s honest, raw, simple and from the heart- sharing my personal perspective of the struggles I faced, along with the strategies, reflections and resources that genuinely helped me find my way through to the other side. So if anyone knows of anyone in this space, or are there right now in the thick of it- please take a look and I really hope it gives a bit of hope and help to someone 🩷

Go.. test yourself…

You’re never too old to start, and never too late to become what you might have been. Age doesn’t kill dreams - excuses do. The body remembers courage long after the world tells it to slow down. Your white belt isn’t a sign you’re behind, it’s proof you’re still brave enough to begin. Karate doesn’t care about birthdays, it cares about spirit. Stop counting years and start counting reps.
