Sedgefield Water Polo Club is the leading organisation for Swimming and Water Polo within the North East of England. Numerous players compete at not only National Championship level, but internationally too. ASA u15's National Champions for 2014. ASA u17's National Champions for 2015

s to realise their full potential. The club was founded in 1997 by George Carpenter ex-England international. From 2000 onwards, Sedgefield have been one of the strongest clubs in the country, a marvelous achievement considering the small population of Durham compared to big clubs such as Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and London Invicta. Sedgefield is relatively small and has members of all ages.
