Torbay 10K Race 🏁

Well done to everyone who competed out there today 👏🏼 What a experience that was, great to see so many people out there on the tarmac and on the sidelines supporting eachother, thanks to everyone for the shoutouts out there, they really helped! 🙏🏼

Normally one to avoid events like this but after gaining plenty of personal growth after today’s experience that’s all about to change, Hyrox & Half’s in the future who knows 🧐

Completed my first year working alongside 🧡

I’m lucky to be in a workplace where work doesn’t feel like work—thanks to the great team, supportive managers, and all the members who make the gym floor such an enjoyable, social place to be.

A very special thank you to my face-to-face and online clients for trusting me with your fitness journey. I genuinely appreciate every one of you.

Incredible week alongside this great group of people, certainly a new style of holiday I would revisit annually 🏝️

2024 Murph Memorial Workout 🇺🇸🪖

My annual CrossFit workout where I join the team and enter the gulag with them, I did a slightly watered down version called Cindy where the reps are completely the same but I broke them down into 20 sets either side of the 1 mile run which meant my brain and body deemed it possible! 🥹

Without sounding like a hero myself, this style of workout is outside of my comfort zone and quite simply scares me the s**t those CrossFit people put themself through 🤣. It’s something I’m a complete novice at but managed to hold my own in there with a successful time for the event and even did it with clean pull ups, not them kipping pull ups ( cheating pull ups ) sorry crossfitters 😜🔫

Could have quite easily threw the towel in after round 5 after looking ahead at a monstrous 15 rounds and having a slight panic 🤣 but set by set we kept chipping away and it all became easier with the great motivation from everybody in the room! 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Do something that scares you every now and again, it will make you realise what you really got in the tank! Anyway.. Off to the gym for some “normal training” 🤣

3 quick fire tips to help you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself 😎📈🧠

1️⃣ Look after No.1, You are priority, some of you may think that sounds crazy and selfish and some of you will get it, the more you look after yourself hopefully the greater you can give to the important people in your life ❤️

If your own cup is empty as you haven’t prioritised your own wellbeing you cant pour water into anyone else’s cup, learning to say no at the right times will go along way 🙅🏼‍♂️

2️⃣ Get yourself into a sustainable health & fitness routine that works around your lifestyle, have a look at what amount of time you can realistically allocate to it and then move forwards with that.

You don’t need to go to the gym 4/5/6 times a week to make progress, if your timings only allow you to train a couple times a week alongside good nutrition and a decent step count, you’ll be suprised how far you go if you stay consistent with that 📈

3️⃣ Be kind to yourself, in the world of social media where everybody looks like they got there s**t together, everyone’s living their best life, it’s one big highlight reel of everyone’s best moments and angles. 📸

Realistically life’s a rollercoaster full of highs and lows and the lows rarely make social media, at the end of the day every single one of us is out here winging it and trying to give our best. If you’re going through a tough patch just remember the majority of what you see on social media is absolutely bo****ks so less comparing your life to everybody’s ‘best’ which definitely stunts your own progress 👎🏻 ( I get caught in this trap now and again, tough to conquer but were just trying to get a little better at it ) 🤝🏼

Today we took the run club down to Exeter where we competed in a 10k race for a mental health charity 🧠

Everyone bringing in impressive times for themselves, followed by a social and pizza at the waterfront, this club ❤️
