That’s a wrap for George! 🌊

Today was George’s last day with us at the Lake for this season, and we just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything he’s brought to the team this year.

From the first session to the last, George has been brilliant with the kids, great with our customers and a real asset to the business. It’s been fantastic to see how quickly he’s become such a valued part of the team — and judging by the number of thank-you cards he’s received from the children, they’ve definitely loved having him around too! ❤️

George is now heading off to study for his Master’s degree, so while we’re sorry to see him go, we’re also really excited to see what comes next for him.

George, you’ve been a great addition to the Lake this year and we really appreciate all your hard work.

Hopefully we’ll see you back on the water with us again sometime. 🤙🌊

Last few days of turn up general hire at the lake. Can’t believe we are nearly at the end of the summer holidays! Open daily for general hire from 10.30am daily.

We will be open everyday from Saturday 25th July until Sunday 31st August. 7 days a week from 10.30am until 4pm ( last session out on the water at 3pm). No need to book for general hire just turn up on the day. Boats for all the family. Can’t wait to see you all. Happy summer holidays.

Our Kids Club (ages 7–11) is a full day of adventure at Decoy Lake 🌊

🛶 Sit on top kayaking & canoeing
🏄 Paddleboarding
🐸 Pond dipping/dam building
🌿 Wildlife spotting welly walk
🎨 Clay collecting & sculpture making

A proper outdoor day.. building confidence, making friends and having fun in nature.

📅 Dates: 11th August 2026 we will open up bookings for 18th August once 11th August is full.
⏰ Time: 10am – 2pm
💷 £29 per child

All equipment, instruction and guidance provided.
Just bring a packed lunch,swimmers and change of clothes 👍

We may add more dates if there’s demand.
