Attention, Wednesday Newton Abbot students
(This is a message for our Wednesday Newton Abbot students if that's not you please ignore. Thank you).

There was an unfortunate incident on Wednesday with the parking.
When we arrived for class on Wednesday evening at Bearnes school the staff car park was full with the teachers cars. The teachers were at Wolbourgh school having a staff meeting.

One of the cars was parked slightly in front of the playground gates meaning we couldn't squeeze through. This caused a queue of cars down Gladstone place and not a little chaos.

Unbeknownst to me one of our parents (I do not know who) decided to have a go at the teacher and call her 'selfish'.

It is totally unacceptable that one of our students/parents is abusive or rude to a member of the school staff, We are guests at the school and very fortunate that we have a nice clean building to teach the children in.

I have apologised to the school and will personally apologise to the teacher in question, who hadn't done anything wrong. She had no idea a group was going to arrive after school and expect to park in the playground (a luxury that unfortunately at present is no longer afforded to us).

I will speak to everyone on Wednesday at class but can we not park in the school car park this week please. Cricket field car park is just around the corner.

I'm hoping to smooth things out with the school so we can move past this but Its a delicate situation that takes diplomacy.
