👉FREE bus service runs between Newton Abbot Train Station and the racecourse. From gates opening until the first race and up to an hour after the last race.

👉Restaurants are FULLY BOOKED but plenty of other food outlets around the site including a new menu in our Paddock Eaterie

If anyone has old photos, racecards or memories of Newton Abbot Racecourse please do get in touch as we are celebrating our 160th Anniversary this year and are starting to collect items for an exhibition later in the year.

Racing has a habit of providing some wonderful memories and it’s fantastic to see the colours of Mrs Jennifer Irish still flying around the racecourse today. This lovely photograph from 1980 shows Mrs Jennifer Irish carrying her yellow and red colours to victory in the Berkeley Hunt Race, with a young Paul Nicholls in pursuit behind (yellow, red sleeves&cap). We wish her runner Rickety Bridge the very best of luck in the 7.35pm Newton Abbot Races this evening. 🔴🟡

We're delighted to welcome Steve Dommett and the team at DGM to our Business Club as Diamond Members! 🎉

As part of their support, they have generously provided the racecourse with a fantastic robotic lawn mower, which will help us maintain our grounds to the highest standard.

Our Clerk of the Course, Ben Robarts, and Head Groundsman, Wayne Hockley, are looking forward to putting this innovative technology to work and benefiting from the valuable time savings it offers.

Keeping the parade ring in pristine condition is essential, and this state-of-the-art mower is perfectly suited to our needs.
