What a brilliant first outing for our newest little Watcombe team! 🥰

Our U8 Girls played their first ever game today and what a fantastic little team they are! 💚

Full of smiles, energy, enthusiasm and plenty of fun from start to finish. 🥹⚽️ They gave it their all, supported each other and most importantly… they had an absolute ball! 💚

There’s so much potential in this little group and we can’t wait to watch them grow, learn and enjoy their football together. 🌟

A huge well done girls — you should all be so proud of yourselves! 👏💚

Our U16 Girls & U12 Boys had a very special supporter today… 🐶⚽️

Rocking her Watcombe bandana with pride, she was on the sidelines cheering the girls & boys on! 💚

We’re not sure how much tactical advice she offered, but she definitely nailed the mascot duties! 😂🐾

10/10 for commitment. 11/10 for cuteness. 🐶💚

Last weekend they retained the Chivenor Trophy for the second year running 💪💚

And this weekend they’ve gone and done it again, lifting the Janner Aid Trophy! 🏆

An incredible achievement from these little legends. Their hard work, teamwork and determination continue to shine through every time they step onto the pitch.

What a brilliant day at our U8s tournament at Long Lane! ⚽💚

Huge thanks to Gerry and Kev for leading the organisation of this brilliant event, and to every volunteer who gave up their time behind the scenes to make the day a huge success. 💚⚽

Special shout-outs to our amazing U13 girls for volunteering, our young Watcombe refs (all former players 😜) for doing a fantastic job, and Charlie from our U15 boys for once again stepping up and helping out – your commitment is hugely appreciated!

Seeing 102 children enjoying the game they love, playing with smiles on their faces and showing fantastic skill, respect and sportsmanship, is exactly what grassroots football is all about. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it such a memorable day. ⚽🏆💚

Mini Kickers Coach Wanted! ⚽
We’re looking for an enthusiastic coach to join our Mini Kickers team for 5–6-year-olds.
If you enjoy working with children and can deliver fun, engaging football sessions, we’d love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to help young players grow in confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game in a positive environment.
No coaching qualifications? No problem!�The club will cover the cost of all required training, including coaching courses, DBS checks, and any other essential certifications.
All we ask is that you bring:
● A positive attitude
● Enthusiasm and reliability
● A passion for helping children have fun and develop through football

And that’s a wrap 💚⚽️

Well done to all our girls and boys for your efforts this season. You’ve represented both yourselves and the club with great pride, commitment and sportsmanship — and we couldn’t be prouder of you all.

This season has brought 5 cup finals, plate finals, and league promotions across both the girls’ and boys’ football teams 🏆👏

But most importantly, it’s been filled with fun, learning, memories and experiences that will stay with us long after the final whistle.

Thank you to all of our players, coaches, volunteers and families for your support throughout the season.

Another tournament, another win for our U9s 🏆💚

In scorching heat they gave absolutely everything, played their little hearts out, and came out on top once again — adding another trophy to the collection!

So proud of every single player for their effort, teamwork, determination and never giving up. A brilliant day and memories made 💚⚽️
