I can help you get the body you want in an achievable and sustainable way that you can have for the rest of your life. I do this by using the most effective and efficient training methods for fat loss and muscle growth. I tailor a nutritional plan specifically based on your age, gender, height and activity levels rather than a one size fits all generic meal plan and calorie goal that will eventually make you feel miserable, lose motivation and eventually cause you to give up. Like many, Leigh is a husband and father with a busy work and family life. Those are his priorities and demands most of his time, understandably so.⁣

Leigh came to me wanting to build a toned muscular figure.⁣

❌ He thought he had to “EAT BIG, TO GET BIG”⁣
❌ He didn’t know what were the best exercises to do to grow muscle and reduce his body fat⁣
❌He didn’t know what foods were best to eat and how much he should be eating to support the hard work he was doing in the gym.⁣
❌He was spending hours in the gym going from exercise to exercise without any real plan or structure.⁣

We came up with a plan that would get Leigh the results he was after without having to find time to train like a manic 6 days a week and take away time from his work and family commitments.⁣

✅Leigh initially was going to train no more than 3 days a week and no more than an hour at a time. Leigh started to see great results quickly and managed to find another hour in his busy schedule to increase his training to 4 days a week so the results would come even quicker!⁣

✅I designed a programme for Leigh to follow which consisted of using free weights and the barbell - as those were going to give him the biggest bang for his buck in terms of getting stronger and building muscle quickly.⁣

✅We instilled some habits that allowed Leigh to drop body fat each week without having to starve himself and still build lean muscle and get stronger.⁣

🔶️ 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘’𝗦 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗡’𝗧 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗠𝗘 🔶️⁣


🔸️All the way through School, College and University I was fit and active. I played rugby, football, swam and ran. ⁣


🔸️I started my working career, and as it developed and progressed, health and fitness became less and less of a priority. Then marriage and a family came along, and my health and fitness started to really take a back seat.⁣


🔸️I was leading a sedentary lifestyle which consisted of either sitting at my desk, in a client meeting, driving in the car or sitting on the sofa knackered after a day’s work. I was always tired and lacked energy. Getting up in the mornings was a real effort and the snooze button became my best friend and my worst enemy.⁣


🔸️Eventually I realised things had to change and I managed to make the shift to get my fitness and nutrition back in check.⁣


🔸️I started training again and read and researched the most effective ways of losing fat and building lean muscle. I learnt about nutrition to ensure I was fueling my body the best way to support building a lean and muscular body.⁣


🔸️I’m proud to say that I achieved my goal. I dropped 4” from my waist, added 4” to my chest and gained 10kg of lean muscle in my first year. I actually weigh more now, however I feel and look 100x better.⁣

“Losing weight” if you are a man with a body fat percentage over 20% and/or waist size of 38” and above is a great idea! You’ll have more energy for both work and family life and ensure you can play with and be a good role model for your kids.⁣

𝐇𝐎𝗪𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑, how do you ensure that when you do “lose weight” you are happy with the end result?⁣

𝗪𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝗪 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐈 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐅 𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐓?⁣

“Skinny fat” simply describes a state in which someone has too little muscle mass and too much body fat. You may look “normal” or even skinny when wearing clothes but look “soft” and maybe “wobbly” underneath.⁣

If you’re a guy, feeling that you are carrying a bit too much body fat (somewhere between 15% & 20%), you’re not naturally muscular, and you haven’t done any strength training in the past year or so (or ever), you’re probably skinny fat.⁣

𝗪𝐇𝐘 𝐀𝐌 𝐈 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐓?⁣

❌Little to no strength training - Jumping on the cross trainer, rower or treadmill all the time? Only using the machines?⁣

❌Eating too little protein - Toast or cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and pasta for dinner?⁣

❌Severe calorie restriction - Skipping breakfast, having a coffee and apple for lunch and a salad for dinner?⁣

❌Excessive Cardio - Running every day or going on the treadmill every time you go to the gym?⁣

𝐇𝐎𝗪 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐓⁣

✅Do a lot of heavy compound weightlifting - Using free weights and the barbell especially, rather than machines will greatly help.⁣

✅Do a moderate amount of cardio - If you love running keep doing it but reduce it to once or twice a week.⁣

✅ Learn how to diet properly - Get an understanding of the calories you should be consuming based on your goal and how those calories should be split between, carbs, fat and protein.⁣
