2 more games this weekend for Byron Abbey (weather permitting yet again!). For those wanting to watch on Saturday, the game will be played in Newstead Abbey at our home ground.

Unfortunately, the weather got the better of us last Saturday and the game was cancelled. We did manage to play on Sunday but it made for a tough day for Byron Abbey. I'm there would have been more than one of our players doing a rain dance during the afternoon!

A date for the diaries. We will be hosting a coffee and cake weekend on the 20th and 21st June so come on down and support the club. We can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than watching the cricket on a sunny day down the Abbey with a generous slice or two of homemade cake. Our stomachs are already excited (and there is plenty of stomach on our players to get excited let me tell you!)

Weather permitting, we will have 2 games in the Abbey this weekend. Our Saturday side are looking to continue their winning ways, whilst our Sunday side are still looking for their first win of the season. Your support will be needed one both days to help them teams out.

A mixed weekend of results for Byron Abbey last weekend. Our Saturday side managed another win with a great all round performance from one player in particular. Our Sunday side picked up another losing draw with a familiar name leading the bowling highlights. We did also have the strange feat of managing to get an opposition batter out for 99 on each day!

After a disappointing weekend of cancellations and rain last weekend, we're happy to see the forecast looks much better this week so do come down to the Abbey for a cricketing bank holiday weekend!

Saturday - HOME vs Beeston & Toton. 1pm start

As always, the pavilion will be open throughout the games for drinks, snacks and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you all down there.
