Applications are now open for the 2027 Krav Maga Systems Ireland Civilian Instructor Course in Ireland 🇮🇪
This is not a beginner introduction programme and is not simply about learning techniques or turning up to receive a certificate.
You will be tested, you will be challenged and you will be expected to perform under the guidance of International Krav Maga Expert and Head Instructor Anthony Cunnane.
The course will include 10 days of intensive applied learning, delivered across three phases, combined with 6 months of structured individual homework and development.
This unique courses objective is to take experienced practitioners and develop them into capable, knowledgeable and responsible KMSI instructors.

Knowing Krav Maga is one thing but being able to teach it effectively as part of a wider organisation is something completely different.
THE SELECTION PROCESS -
Progression through this unique course must be earned and candidates will be assessed throughout each phase and must meet specific physical, technical and teaching criteria before progressing. The course concludes with a final examination covering both physical skills and teaching abilities
Successful candidates will receive a Krav Maga Grade and Civilian Instructor Certification.

⚠️ WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
➡️ Minimum age: 25 years
➡️ Minimum 5 years Krav Maga training with a recommendation from a current instructor
➡️ 5 years’ experience training with another Krav Maga organisation, where different procedures and methodologies have been followed
➡️ Alternatively, high-level experience in another martial art such as Judo, Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing or Kickboxing, with strong punching and kicking ability
➡️ Clean criminal background
➡️ Good physical fitness
Becoming a KMSI Instructor means becoming part of the Krav Maga Systems Ireland team.
Successful instructors will receive ongoing support through our team and network of training camps in Ireland and internationally, together with access to specialised training opportunities available to KMSI instructors and their students.
You will be developing the ability to represent KMSI, lead your students and take responsibility for their development.
The standards are particularly high because the responsibility is high, so if you believe you have the experience, discipline, commitment and character required.
