THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSENTUAL S*X & NON-CONSENTUAL S*X.
There is three main points you must remember whilst deciding if you want to participate in a s*xual act with someone.
1. COMFORTABLE
◾Do you feel comfortable in the situation you find yourself?
◾Have you found yourself in a position that makes you feel uncomfortable?
To participate in a s*xual act you must feel comfortable. If an individual makes you feel uncomfortable. Then you must state this and remove yourself from the situation.
Sometimes scenarios will lead you to a place or into a situation you never wanted to be.
Never be afraid to say no and walk away.
2. COMMUNICATION
◾Are you able to communicate fully with the person?
◾Do you fully understand and have you communicated as to what you want or
how you feel?
Never underestimate the power of communication.
Understanding the situation in which you find yourself and being able to respond clearly as to your intentions is vitally important.
In some cases alcohol can be a huge factor as this lowers our inhibitions giving us a lower sense of understanding and makes communicating your intentions more difficult
Drugs can be taken intentionally or un-intentionally. This also has the same ramifications and s*xual predators feed on his.
3. CONSENT
◾Have you given consent to a s*xual act?
◾Are you in a right state of mind to be able to give consent?
NO MEANS NO! THERE ARE NO EXCUSES
If you do not want to take part in a s*xual act and you say no. Everything after that point can be perceived as a s*xual assault or r**e.
Again are you in a situation to be able to communicate enough to give consent or do you feel comformatble enough to give consent.
A lot of young men can have a false sense of what s*x is and this is fast becoming an epidemic because of the rising p**n culture and social media outlets.
EDUCATION IS THE KEY AND HAVING RESPECT IS THE ANSWER.
