Good luck to all 125 players teeing it up today in The Asher Cup at Newquay Golf Club!⛳️

Today is particularly special as it’s our first big competition since our fantastic new clubhouse opened last week — and as you can see from the photos, the builders have done an incredible job! 👏

The new clubhouse is a fantastic addition to the club and, combined with our spectacular links overlooking Fistral Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, makes Newquay Golf Club an even better place to visit and play.

If you haven’t played Newquay before, why not come and experience it for yourself? 18 holes of traditional links golf, stunning coastal views and now a fantastic new clubhouse waiting for you after your round. 🌊⛳️

🌊⛳️ RNLI CHARITY OPEN ⛳️🌊

Good luck to all 138 players teeing it up in our RNLI Charity Open today at Newquay Golf Club!

It’s a grey start overlooking the Atlantic this morning, but the good news is that the forecast is dry for the day. The greens have been double cut and the course is ready to go! 👌

We’re extremely proud to be supporting the RNLI today. Being a links course perched above Fistral Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, we see first-hand just how important the incredible work of the RNLI is. It’s fantastic to be able to enjoy a great day of golf while raising money for such a worthwhile cause. ❤️🚤

It’s great to welcome my fellow PGA Professional and good friend Steve Liddell, along with his group from Germany, to Newquay Golf Club today.

Steve and I have been Pro’s for a long time so it’s always a pleasure to catch up — and even better to be able to welcome him and his group to our fantastic links here in Cornwall.

⛳️ CAPTAIN’S CHARITY GOLF DAY ⛳️

Good luck to all 132 players taking part in our Captain’s Charity Golf Day today at Newquay Golf Club!🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

We’ve had plenty of much-needed rain overnight, which has softened the course and will hopefully bring a bit more green back after such a long spell with virtually no rain. 🌧️🌱

It’s a bit fresher out there this morning, but the course is looking fantastic. The greens have been cut and rolled and are quickly getting back to normal after Maintenance Week, so they should be rolling nicely today. ⛳️👌

We’re excited to announce that entries are OPEN for the Newquay Junior Open 2026, taking place on Wednesday 26th August at Newquay Golf Club! ⛳️

There are competitions for juniors of all handicap levels:

🏆 18 Hole Individual Medal – 0–18 handicap
🏆 18 Hole Individual Stableford – 19–36 handicap
🏆 9 Hole Stableford – 37–54 handicap

It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of competitive golf, meet other junior golfers and test yourself on the course! 🌊⛳️
