Open 7 days a week for lessons and hire. From surf and stand-up paddleboard lessons to outdoor fitness classes and beach yoga, Wavehunters at the Extreme Academy will offer a range of surfing and beachside adventures for all ages and abilities. From the year-round consistency of the waves to the high cliffs giving shelter from the wind and the comforting presence of the RNLI on the beach when it’s busy, Watergate Bay is a great place to learn to surf.

Bracing sea dip to woodfired heat in just a few steps…. Follow the lights and scent of woodsmoke down Sea Lane to find Wavehunters’ new ocean view sauna.
