The greatest privilege is sharing the joy of our amazing environment and building a company around it to share it with your children !!!

Here is a great example of my eldest asleep while everyone marvels at some dolphins and a minke whale…..

Seriously do all kids find their parents this boring …. 🥱

We do see Whales 🐳 on some of our trips.

The minke whale is the most common whale found in our waters, typically measuring 7 to 9 metres long. The minke whales today were feeding on bait-fish.

We often find them with dolphins and with the gannets feeding on the same bait.

We have news and it’s going to be big…..

But before we cut the ribbon (it might be a brand new boat !) here’s a reel of some of our recent adventures on the RIBS.

Don’t forget the new opens next week and our Water taxi can get you there from Padstow. (We’ve had a sneak preview and it’s amazing).

PUFFINS are off…..(any day)

Last chance to see our local puffins before they head off to sea. Our puffins migrate to the open ocean of the Atlantic and the Bay of Biscay.

We saw a few ‘circus’ of puffins’ this morning and we have space on the puffin trip at 08:45 tomorrow.

The conditions are perfect so go for it.

FOR SALE - ROCK|PADSTOW WATER TAXI.

You chance to own part of the ancient link between Padstow and Rock.

We are an ever changing business and we have a ‘go for it’ mentality. This time though, I have sat down and made a plan for the future and I think it’s time to SELL on our beloved Mary Marie/Water taxi and its route.

What’s include ?

- The Vessel ‘Mary Marie’.
- coded CAT 3 r (allowing for night work and light commercial work).
- All safety equipment.
- refurbished heavy duty trailer.
- extensive repeat business.
- All training needed.

Income
- Water taxi (Padstow - Rock - Padstow)
- Night ferry (out side Ferry hours)
- Day time tours
- Light commercial work (such as filming).
- Safety cover vessel (such as Padstow swim)
- River trips
- sponsorship (£10 k income)
- Private charters (ashes scattering/picnic boat/family fun)
- special operations (Padstow Christmas fayre) and Cornwall 100 mile challenge when we ferry people across the estuary all night.

The water taxi is coded by the YDSA Cat 3 r.
She is coded for 12 passages and 2 crew

She was built right here in Rock as is a maintained to the highest standard by the local yard who built her.

She will be sold as a ‘going concern’.

* the minimum qualification needed to skipper the Water taxi is your advanced power boat ticket which must be commercial endorsed, a local knowledge pilot test and sign off from the Padstow Harbour Commission.
