Originally from Birmingham, Bodyline Wetsuits founder Paul Chambers grew up in the late 1970s surfing the cold waters off North Wales and the North East. Paul’s love of the sport and quest for (warmer) waves took him all over Europe. Loading up the camper van with boards, he’d hit the road at every given opportunity. Over the years, the beautiful Cornish coastline became his second home and relocating to Cornwall became an obvious choice, not just for the waves, but for a better quality of life. Paul began working alongside Karma Surfboards’ shaper Dave Farrow in the early 80s, developing his skills in custom wetsuits manufacturing and plying his trade at a time when fluro wetsuits were all the rage. The 1980’s were an exciting time for the surf industry as money started to be injected into the sport and surfing equipment really started to evolve. By the end of the decade Paul had established himself within the British surf community. Today, 30 years may have passed Bodyline Wetsuits still maintains the same values and reputation. A true family run business, our experienced team also includes original machinists from Gul Watersports who were at the forefront of watersports technical development and original wetsuit manufacturing facility was based in Cornwall until the late 1990s. Dirty Business: The Filthy Truth About England’s Water Companies

'As we saw with ITV’s Mr Bates vs The Post Office (2024), TV can be powerful and result in real change. But whilst that awful miscarriage of justice has seen over £1.3billion paid in compensation, that’s nothing compared to the reparations owed to victims of England’s water companies – the target of Dirty Business.

What makes Dirty Business so powerful is that everything that you see in the factual drama is true. The water companies really are illegally dumping sewage into our rivers in England 1,600 times a day and facing no consequences for their actions.'

The Worn Wear crew is hitting the road, and this winter, we’re bringing our tiny repair houses to the snow. We’ll be coming to spots across Scotland, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Austria to offer free repairs on your busted gear.

Fixing the stuff you already own and using it for many seasons reduces overall consumption, which is good for your wallet (more money for snacks) and even better for the planet. Bring us your most loved piece of clothing and we’ll repair it for free, whatever the brand.

First come, first served, one clean item per person. Clothing only, no shoes, boots, luggage or hard goods.

'Off-Season' Lifeguard Wetsuit Repairs for the RNLI

Lifeguards may not be patrolling the beaches across the UK at the moment, but behind the scenes, the work never stops.

We are currently finishing the repairs to RNLI Chichester's wetsuits for the forthcoming season.

“We received great service from start to finish. The team at Bodyline kept us informed of the timeline progress and were transparent with costs throughout the process.

This was an excellent way to extend the lifespan of several of our wetsuits instead of replacing them. Highly recommended!"
