🔥Fantastic afternoon at the yesterday🔥

The Joe Way Paddle is always one of the highlights of the year and an amazing community event to be a part of. Newquay Activity Centre are stoked to once again have supported this event in its 18th running. Over the years the Joe Way Paddle has raised a huge £190,000 through these events and it will continue to run for many years to come!

Every year we enter a team into the 1km relay race and this year was no different. With both past and present generations of NAC instructors our team managed to secure a podium spot amongst some tough competition. Congratulations to for taking the top spot and to another named surf school for pipping us to second place 🤣 we will be back with vengeance next year 💪🫡

Massive shoutout to and .waller210 for giving up their time and volunteering at the event. Also to who led the event for another year and continues to be an outdistancing community figure 🙌

What a weekend ☀️🌊

The sun finally made a proper comeback and Newquay was looking unreal 😍 From coasteering adventures and paddleboarding sessions to stunning coastal views and plenty of smiles, it’s been a great few days all round 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend. We loved sharing Cornwall’s coastline with you 💙

🔄WEEKEND ROUND UP🔄

Spring Bank Holiday weekend has delivered the goods! We have been treated to optimal activity conditions all weekend and it has been great to see so many happy customers to the centre 💥

Highlights of the weekend include the “Safe for the Season” event run by down at Tolcarne on Sunday as well as seeing our Intensive Surf Instructor Course Instructors in practice leading the Community Surf Lessons on the weekend as well 🙌

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR INTENSIVE SURF INSTRUCTOR COURSE STUDENTS 👏🍾🙌

Over the last week the trainees have been working with our Lifesaving Officer to prepare for the lifeguard assessments. On Friday, head lifeguard assessor Paul Price came in to assess them all and they passed with flying colours! 🏆

It was some of the best feedback that we have received from an asssessor on one of our Intensive Surf Instructor Courses and that is down to the training that they have received. Thank you to all the students for smashing it this week and putting maximum effort into hitting your goals and of course to Alex for delivering another excellent training course 🍾🙌
