Newquay Futsal Challenge Cup kicks off on Thursday 7th April. Register your team now if you are interested in giving futsal a try in a knock out competition. Each team will be guarenteed a minimum of two fixtures.

the 2015-2016 Newquay Futsal Legue is drawing to a close. Sam's team, reigning champions, are once again unbeaten in the league and looking to regain the title.

Fixtures are played Thursday evenings at Treviglas Sports Hub.

Three entertaining games of futsal tonight in the Newquay Futsal Premiership. The last two or three weeks has seen a rise in the quality of passing, movement and finishing.

Tonight's results:
League leaders Sam's Team picked up another high scoring win, this time against a young Bocca Juniors side. But Sam's didn't have it all their own way with Boccas making the most of mistakes, punishing the more experienced team with four great break away goals. Final score. 14-4.

The second game saw the two new teams fight it out on the futsal court. An exciting game, filled with goal action and an outstanding performance by the Spectrums keeper finished Handsome Fc 6, On the Spectrum 7. This was the second week running that the Handsome ones were denied points by outstanding goalkeeping. Congratulations Spectrum on your first futsal victory and welcome to the league.

The final game, between Young Dads and 2 Girls, 1 Schlupp was another competitive match filled with goal attempts, skill, excellent passing and support play. Some cracking individual and team goals but Schlupp's held on under some late pressure to sn**ch two late goals and win the game 10-7.
