So today I had the unenviable task of informing the WRU that where removing themselves from this seasons league due to low player numbers.

Unfortunately with a few players leaving, retirements & Covid we can’t really see a way forward.

I would personally like to thank everyone who has helped out on & off the pitch over the last decade or so but we as a club know it’s time to sit back, relax and not worry about numbers training or available match day.

Match report Malpas V’s Rogerstone
Game kicked off
Malpas captain dislocated his elbow
Coxy came on & Malpas took the lead
Roggie scored 3 or 4 luck tries
Final whistle
Malpas cleaned the whiteheads pitch and changing rooms
Everyone left

We’ve managed to raise a side for the first time this season for our first game since 25th January 2020

Side in the loosest sense at best

We have an agreement with Newport police that if people on tag play for us it goes towards their community service time
Only issue is they have to be home by 16.00 as they are under house arrest
