Just to let you all know, The Pill Millennium Community Centre has just informed me that the Centre will be closed for this coming Monday 5th May Bank Holiday. Unfortunately, they do not have any availability for the Tuesday or Wednesday, so there will only be one lesson next week which will be Thursday 8th May 2025, please accept my apologies but this is totally out of our control.

❗ GRADING ANNOUNCEMENT ❗

Don't forget it's grading night on Easter Monday (yes we will be open) for all those that qualify, these are the students that will be grading:
- Harley
- William
- James
- Matt
- Dominic

Lesson starts 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Grading starts from 7:45pm onwards
We should be completed by 8:30pm

Can all students attend the pre-grade training wether your grading or not to help support those that are grading.

Grading dates are all on the clubs website https://newportkaratecentre.com/events/ and discord server. The grading costs £36 inclusive of the belt should the student pass.

Please arrive as close to 6:30pm as possible.

COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SEKI RYU ZAN KARATE CLUB BANGOR

Dear Karateka,
Alun and myself would like to invite you to a “special” karate course for Black and Brown Belts.

We want to share with you, our experience of training with Kawasoe Sensei for nearly 40 years.

We will attempt to explain our understanding of his way, his teaching methods and important points.

The venue will be Canolfan Brailsford Bangor LL57 2EH on Saturday APRIL 26th 2025. 10am – 12:00 noon. Cost is £10.00 on entry.

Those of you having a long journey and wishing to attend, may like to take advantage of a Friday night overnight stay at the Premier Inn Bangor Menai Business Park. Bangor LL57 4FA Phone: 0333 777 3677. This is a mere 5 minutes drive from the venue.
