Saturday saw a mixed bag with the firsts falling to 54/9 before regrouping to post 115, which very nearly proved to be just enough, before eventually falling to defeat to Llandaff.
Conversely, the seconds bowled Newport 3s out for not very many and won by 5 wickets.
The 3s posted a good total; too many for Lisvaneโs 5th team, and the 4th team put on a good showing but didnโt have quite enough against Porth
On Sunday the ladies were involved in 4 games. The Bs hosted Blackwood and Llanarth at the club and came away with two very good wins.
At Monmouth, the As were in a more competitive set up, beating Monmouth in the first game but falling to a Chepstow afterwards
And finally Monday evening saw the 2s travel to Abergavenny in the Semi Final of the Macey Bowl. It looked at one stage as if we could be chasing a huge total, but a good fight back saw us bowl them out for 172. We were never out of it but ended up falling just 6 short in the end.
