⚽️ UCANPLAY IS BACK! ⚽️

UCanPlay returned on Tuesday — and what a session it was to come back to! 🔥

Both groups absolutely smashed it, bringing loads of energy, passion and enjoyment and completely embracing our new futsal session layout. 🙌

Being inside gives us such a great environment to work in. We can keep the energy high, get loads of ball-rolling time, repeat skills over and over, and give every player plenty of opportunities to practise. It also gives us those really valuable moments to stop, pause and coach, without the distractions that can sometimes come with being outside.

The development across both groups was incredible to see. The players listened brilliantly, embraced the challenges and continued to improve throughout the sessions. 👏

We’re so, so proud of both groups and genuinely excited to see where this journey takes them over the coming months. 💙

☀️ UCANPLAY SUMMER WRAP-UP! ⚽️🧡

What. A. Summer. 🥹

Across 4 camp dates, we welcomed 110 girls from all over the Isle of Wight, representing clubs from right across the island. 🌴⚽️

And honestly, we couldn’t be prouder.

The behaviour from the girls was impeccable throughout. They welcomed each other, made new friends, supported one another and created such a brilliant atmosphere. Seeing girls from different clubs come together, play football and simply enjoy being girls who love the game is exactly what UCanPlay is all about. 🧡

It’s been a really special summer, and these camps are something we genuinely love being part of every year. ❤️

A massive thank you to every single girl, parent and coach who has made the summer what it’s been. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’re still looking for more donations for today’s Boot Bank event at the Isle of Wight Community Club!

We’ve officially reached our FINAL CAMP OF THE SUMMER this Friday! 😭⚽️

Honestly, we have to say a HUGE thank you. ❤️

There is always a lot of stress, planning and worry that goes into putting on our camps, weekly sessions and Talent ID events — but once again, you’ve all shown up, booked in early, trusted us to create fun and developmental days for your girls, and helped make everyone’s summer absolutely superb! 🥹🙌

We genuinely couldn’t do it without you.

So proud of you, Jasper! 💙🏔️

We couldn’t not share this one over on UCanPlay because we are SO proud of Coach Jasper! 👏

What a year it has been for him. This year Jasper has really stepped up and become a full member of the UCanPlay coaching team, and honestly, the girls wouldn’t have the sessions they do without him now.

He has grown massively as a coach, but more importantly, he continues to show a level of maturity, responsibility and commitment that is way beyond his years. The way he conducts himself, supports the girls and takes on responsibility is something we’re incredibly proud of.

It was also brilliant to see how much his coaching has developed when Elliot joined us for our Talent ID camp. Elliot was so impressed with Jasper and his coaching, complimenting him as one of the best up-and-coming coaches he had seen. That meant so much to us and is a huge credit to how hard Jasper has worked. 👏⚽️

From being involved in the Cowes Community FC fundraising walks to now going and smashing Snowdon himself, Jasper always throws himself into everything we do! 🏔️😂

We’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of the UCanPlay family, Jasper. We’re so proud of the coach and person you’re becoming, and we genuinely believe you have a very bright future ahead of you. 💙

Jasper has been part of our walks throughout the challenge and was gutted to miss this one, but what a reason to be unavailable! 😂🙌
