What a fantastic middle weekend at the Devon County Championships for the Honiton Stingrays! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Across Saturday and Sunday we had 27 entries, with swimmers aged 10 through to 18, which is an amazing achievement for a club of our size. The weekend delivered PBs, finalists, a brilliant silver medal, and a regional qualifying time—we're incredibly proud of everyone's results.

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches, who were poolside from first thing in the morning right through to the very last race. Your dedication and support make such a difference.

We also want to say thank you to our Team Managers and volunteer officials. Without your time, organisation, and willingness to step up, weekends like this simply wouldn’t be possible

We’re so proud of everyone involved and can’t wait to do it all again at the 31st Jan / 1st Feb weekend. Bring it on!

Massive congratulations to all the Honiton Stingrays who raced at the Plymouth Leander Christmas Gala last Sunday and again this weekend. Huge respect to those who powered through the lurgy, and best wishes for a speedy recovery to those it sadly ruled out of racing.

Outstanding performances all round, with a fantastic haul of medals, PBs, County qualifying times and even Regional times. Brilliant effort, Stingrays.

🏊‍♀️ Challenge Cup 2025 – Bridport Barracudas Gala! 🏊‍♂️

What a weekend! It was a great — if rather hectic — gala hosted by the Bridport Barracudas. We were the smallest club there and had the fewest swimmers competing, which meant our 12-year-olds were racing 16-year-olds and our 14-year-olds were up against 19-year-olds! 😅

But every single swimmer stepped up and handled the pressure, nerves, and competition brilliantly — we couldn’t be prouder! 💪💙

Huge thanks to Ollie and Dan for sorting out the minibus transport (a great idea and a big success!), for racing for the club, and for helping Adam T manage the swimmers poolside — no small task given the pace of the day! 👏

A massive thank-you also to Jim for coaching and supporting the team throughout — your guidance made a huge difference! 🙌

A special shout-out to Helene for once again volunteering to officiate for us — without her, we wouldn’t be able to enter many of these galas. 🙏

And of course, a big thank you to all the parents for lending us such great kids for the day! 🥰

💥🌊What an awesome day for the Honiton Stingrays! 🌊💥

Our swimmers made a real splash at the Tiverton Sparkler today — full of smiles, team spirit, and some seriously speedy swims! 🌟🏊‍♀️

There were heaps of new PBs, loads of cheering from poolside, and some brilliant performances from our Stingrays who are growing stronger and more confident every meet. 💪🐟

We’re so proud of the effort, energy, and enthusiasm everyone showed — you were amazing! 💙💛

A huge shout out to our head coach Jim, and all the volunteers and parents for their support — and to Tiverton for hosting such a fun and well organised event! 🙌
