Huge congratulations to Jemma and our Head Coach Jim for their performances at the SE London Regional Masters Competition this weekend, held in the iconic Olympic pool at the London Aquatics Centre! 🏊‍♀️🏅

Between them, they brought home a full set of medals — gold, silver, and bronze — and represented the club brilliantly throughout the weekend.

What a great weekend of swimming — well done to you both! 👏

Another fantastic weekend of swimming for the Honiton Stingrays!

Our U18s delivered brilliant performances at the Yeovil Spring Fling, bringing home an impressive haul of PBs and medals. We’re especially proud of how you handled the moments that didn’t go to plan — just getting on with things and supporting each other throughout.

Meanwhile, across the border, Jemma represented the Masters in Cornwall and came home with a fabulous medal collection: 🥇 1 gold and 🥈🥈 2 silvers — an amazing achievement!

A huge thank you to our coach Jim and all the volunteers who supported the team across the weekend. None of this would be possible without you.

Well done, Stingrays — keep it up! 💙🏊‍♂️

Thats the Swimming Club Championship wrapped up for another year! 🏊‍♂️

It’s been amazing to see so many swimmers taking part, for some, their very first championships — alongside others smashing new PBs and pushing hard for those county qualifying times. 🏆⏱️

But more than anything, it’s been about the fun, the team spirit, and the support and encouraged each swimmer has given their team mates along the way.

A huge thank you to our incredible coaches, dedicated committee, and supportive parents who have helped make the last two weeks such a success — from organising, time keeping and cheering poolside to keeping everyone fuelled with a steady supply of cake! 🎂

And a special thank you to the Honiton & District Lions Club for their fantastic donation of a giant Easter egg — a perfect way to celebrate the end of a brilliant championship.

Well done, everyone! 👏

Great swims from a Honiton swimmer at the Two Counties Meet! 🏊‍♂️

With two new regional qualifying times and medals in every event, it was a fantastic performance in the pool. A big thank you to Exmouth Swimming Club for their team managing and coaching support, and to Caradon Swimming Club for accepting a late entry and helping make this opportunity possible.

It’s been a busy and successful few weeks for the club. Last weekend at the Level 4 Dartmoor Sprint Gala in Exmouth, Honiton swimmers collected medals, rosettes and plenty of PBs. The action was so non-stop there wasn’t even time to grab photos! 🏅

Our Club Championships have also been taking place over the last two weeks and are still underway — one last evening of racing to come. Keep an eye out for the full round-up coming soon.

What a fantastic middle weekend at the Devon County Championships for the Honiton Stingrays! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Across Saturday and Sunday we had 27 entries, with swimmers aged 10 through to 18, which is an amazing achievement for a club of our size. The weekend delivered PBs, finalists, a brilliant silver medal, and a regional qualifying time—we're incredibly proud of everyone's results.

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches, who were poolside from first thing in the morning right through to the very last race. Your dedication and support make such a difference.

We also want to say thank you to our Team Managers and volunteer officials. Without your time, organisation, and willingness to step up, weekends like this simply wouldn’t be possible

We’re so proud of everyone involved and can’t wait to do it all again at the 31st Jan / 1st Feb weekend. Bring it on!

Massive congratulations to all the Honiton Stingrays who raced at the Plymouth Leander Christmas Gala last Sunday and again this weekend. Huge respect to those who powered through the lurgy, and best wishes for a speedy recovery to those it sadly ruled out of racing.

Outstanding performances all round, with a fantastic haul of medals, PBs, County qualifying times and even Regional times. Brilliant effort, Stingrays.
