Please be aware of the road closure tomorrow if your travelling to the centre

Newport Road – event road closure

Newport Road will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 24 January) from its junction with Llantarnam Road to its junction with Llanatrnam Parkway, Cwmbran, from 10am until 11:45am.

The closure is to allow for a parade to remember Private John Fielding from Cwmbran who fought at the battle of Rorke's Drift in 1879. More information on the parade is available here http://www.torfaen.gov.uk/en/News/2015/January/21-JohnFieldingmemorialparade.aspx

Emergency access will be maintained at all times as far as is reasonably practical.
