This headset is from a customers bike that hasn’t been apart since delivery, frankly building a bicycle and not lubricating these bearings is not acceptable and renders them prone to premature failure. This is from a big “Bike” shop, one that’s in industrial estates everywhere.

When you use a local bike shop/repairer 9/10 times you get what you pay for, the big boys haven’t got the time/care. We will rebuild this and make sure it’s properly lubricated, this time.

Use you Local Bicycle repairers, this isn’t just about us.
