Boughey Gardens Tennis Club Located in the heart of Newport, Shropshire with 4 hard-surface courts, we offer many opportunities for all ages and level of play. Public Court Bookings.

All Court Tennis provides a fantastic coaching program for juniors and adults with private and group sessions offered. Boughey Gardens Tennis Club in the heart of Newport Town Centre provides tennis facilities and opportunities for local players of all ages and abilities. Our membership covers people young and old from Newport and the many surrounding villages

We are a friendly club with a strong family atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering the widest possible range of tennis opportunities covering complete beginners right up to players with a strong competitive focus. We have 200 members with an age range covering 4 to 70. There are many opportunities for players to practise and compete at their own level - and, equally important, to have fun

Our facilities comprise:

4 brand new all-weather hard courts
Floodlighting to all these courts
Mini-tennis court markings on 2 courts
Clubhouse with catering facilities, toilets and wheelchair access
We also offer:

A professional coaching team
Tennis Clubmark Accreditation
A very active junior section
Organised club nights throughout the year
Competitive tennis - singles, doubles and teams all year round
Opportunities for complete beginners to take up the sport
A wide range of social events
Encouragement and opportunities for all members to be involved in the running and development of the club

What a day!! 60 people gathered from Boughey Gardens and Nova Badmington to raise money for Severn Hospice via a few fun games of Rounders in memory of our good friend, recently passed. £580 was raised today and added to previous pledges. It was fun, competitive, and all reflecting our joint affection in tribute to Andy.

Well done to all involved!!

GREAT NEWS! Boughey Gardens Tennis Club will be getting the courts resurfaced week commencing 14th September, weather permitting. There will be a little prep the week before too but we look forward to our new look and all weather Tiger Turf courts.

🎾 Boughey Gardens Tennis Club held their inaugural Ladies Open Doubles Tournament on the 4th June 2026 🎾

What a fantastic day of tennis! ☀️ With 40 ladies competing across four groups on all of our courts.
We enjoyed great matches, wonderful company, and beautiful weather.
