Please bare in mind that if you are travelling to the Isle of Wight to take part in the stingray festival next year it will be a week long competition and will be 💯 weigh and release .
Now whilst you will more than likely be next to a local with the ability to weigh your catch for you below is the scales you require to record your fish for this competition. I carry both 55lb and 100lb ones as every year we do catch monsters that bottom out the 55lb ones below

Good morning you beautiful anglers just a heads up that our next open will be the week long conger festival this comp will be a 2 rod open as opposed to our normal 1 rod limit , also this one is beaches only there will be no piers pontoons or harbour breakwaters allowed .
Posters will be up in shops in the next two weeks so “get your snake on “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪

Sorry for the delay but a family thing came up
Here are the results if this weekends open
16 people signed on raising another £32 for Ventnor juniors open
First the bass section was won by Aidan aisher with a fine bass of 9lb 12 oz
Second was Carl wager with a bass of 6lb 1
Third was myself with one of 3lb 9 oz
The red mullet pot was won by Aidan aisher with a fish of 9 oz taking the entire pot
The sole pot was not won as there was no fish bought back so the money from this pot will be carried over to the conger prize pot in the next comp . Thankyou to everybody that signed on and we will see you on the next one Isle of Wight species comps
