So this weekend was the annual junior club tournament.

An amazing effort by all our players. The effort and determination was outstanding, attitude on court was first class 🥇 and the standard was out of this world 🌎

Huge thanks 🤝 to all the players, parents and coaches for impeccable behaviour and support.
A special mention to Carys Salter and Andrew Jones for helping run the event ... a 20 hour marathon with 51 players and 89 matches in total.

The highlight has to be our mighty U8's who battles through turential rain this morning

Join us at AYY LTC 6PM Friday 5th September for our very own US Open tournament! Entry is £5, payable on the day and includes a Burger 🍔

This Saturday Carys will be going ahead with her fundraiser for her volunteering trip to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 where she will be taking part in a sports development program.

She will be helping to renovate local sports facilities as well as deliver PE lessons and after school clubs to underprivileged children.

To fundraise her trip she’ll be taking on a 1️⃣7️⃣ hour tennis marathon at the club from 5am through until 10pm 🤯

The clubhouse and bar will be open for the duration of the marathon so feel free to pop down

At 8pm there will be a fun *adult* mini red tournament (which includes beers 🍻)
