Week 2: Preview
After last weeks competitive opening week to the season, we now focus on week 2 of the league. Defending Champions No Jack, No Josh, No problem will be looking to avenge last weeks disappointing result as they take on the ever competitive Eveswell who will be looking for their first win on the season after missing out narrowly to XYZ last week. Talking of XYZ they take on fellow former Division 2 team NPT Ballers, when these teams play there is always a spark in the air, both super competitive and both will give there all to get 3 points in this clash.
Division 2 will see the ever rising Heavy Hitters take on NHS Bees who know what its like to climb to leagues in succession after doing it themselves this batter feels like a teacher vs student battle, will NHS Bees experience drive them to victory or will the confidence of Heavy Hitters help them continue their surge to Divsion 1? In the other fixture we see CTAFC take on Corries which was a great game back end of last season which seen corries win that battle but will they be a to raise a side this week after last weeks forfiet, will CTAFC capitalise on the lack of games corries have had this season or will it be a case of CTAFC not having a keeper lets them down again?
Just the 1 game in Division 3 this week, sadly due to an odd number of teams Newport Nashers will be awarded a win for Monday night. This leaves Spartans who are very unpredictabe up against the ever confident Liz FC who after last weeks win over Newport Nashers leaves them early favourites to take the title. Will Spartans battle hard to stop Liz FC in their tracks or will Liz FC continue their dominant run as of late and take another step closer to Division 2?
Finally we head to Division 4 where MvF Port battle against Five Knuckle Shuffle. Both teams victorious last week in their respective matches and both will look to continue their strong start to the season and set an early claim to the title, but anything can happen in this league. Final game sees the forever improving Real Sosobad take on the declining Safran who have fallen from Division 2 to Division 4 in 2 seasons, they will keen to get back into Division 3 amd thay quest takes them to Sosobad who are proving to be tricky opponents more and more every week.
One thing for sure is Monday the games will.be as competitive as every.
Good luck to all of them amd lets wait and see what Monday holds for them.
Diolch!!!
