After some difficulty trying to get ourselves back together, our page is back on Facebook. Few matches were played in Summer 2020 due to people needing to self-isolate a lot and none ended up being played in Summer 2021.
In 2022, we'll invest in some more equipment and possibly team shirts too. We're also planning to build a small diamond in Tredegar Park on the marked area in the image. Matches will be played there now as many rugby/football facilities have been built where we used to play near the cricket area, leaving us little space to install bases. Hopefully this will encourage people to try the sport and give people somewhere to play baseball in Newport if they wish.
At the moment, there are 5 players between 15 - 17, so we play in the Summer and split into two teams (A & B ). Updates are posted on the LeagueRepublic page in the news section.
