After disappointing results at the weekend, both of our Senior sides will be looking to bounce back this Saturday, 19th September. 💪

🏠 Our First Team return to Y Sifil Sports Ground as they welcome Marshfield AFC.

✈️ Our Reserves are on the road as they take on Pill AFC at Tredegar Park.

⏰ Both games kick off at 2:30pm.

A new week, two new challenges and another opportunity to put points on the board. Get behind the lads! 👏⚽️

⚽️ FIRST TEAM | SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 🔵⚪️

A weekend to forget across the Senior section, with the First Team also suffering a disappointing result on Saturday.

Coming off the back of what had been a really positive start to the season, this was simply one of those days where things didn’t click.

Credit to the opposition, who put in a spirited performance, stayed solid at the back and punished us when the opportunities came.

No excuses and no dwelling on it. We take the lessons, chalk it up as a bad day at the office and move on.

Plenty more football still to come. 💪🔵⚪️

⚽️ RESERVES | SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 🔵⚪️

A tough afternoon for the Reserves.

We just couldn’t get going and lost too many battles across the pitch. We struggled to make things happen with the ball against a well-organised side who knew exactly what they needed to do.

It simply wasn’t our day at the office, but that’s football. We’ll dust ourselves off, learn from it and go again next week. 💪

Heads up, lads. Onto the next one. 🔵⚪️

⚽💙 FIRST TEAM | TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 💙⚽

A fantastic result for the lads as we picked up a hard-fought win over local rivals Newport Saints — our first victory against them in recent years! 👏

With a depleted squad, every player who took to the field stepped up when needed. A real team performance, with the lads digging in, working for each other and ultimately getting the job done. 💪

⚽⚽⚽ HAT-TRICK – LEWIS AMPHLETT

A huge mention for Lewis Amphlett, who found the net three times to complete a brilliant hat-trick and play a massive part in securing the win! 🎩🔥👏

⭐ MAN OF THE MATCH – JUDE CLARKE ⭐

Another outstanding and commanding performance from Jude at the back. He led by example, using all his experience with some superbly timed tackles, keeping things steady defensively and constantly looking to put us on the front foot.

A thoroughly deserved MOTM after another top performance. 👏

A very pleasing result in a local derby, and we now turn our attention to Wattsville on Saturday, looking to continue our positive start to the season.
