Well done lads top fishing and well delt with at such hectic times :)
Well after a long winter where work family and more work got in both mine and my current partner in crimes Ivan Vickers way we both finally managed to squeeze a 24hr session in, with warm temps and a nice breeze over the lake we both settled in for the night some quicker than others Ivan slow this is long snickers!!
With plenty of liners and little knocks the feeling was confident for a bite or two! The evening passed and darkness came as did the fish unfortunately both Ivan and myself losing fish to the already present w**d! The best managed was a nice tinca by Ivan.
With beds a calling off we went, come the morning still no fish to shout about but the lake was buzzing and we both knew it was a matter of time!
At 08:10 one of Ivan's rods roared off and he was in with a nice common of 18.8 netted and safely into the retainer I went back to continue sorting my rods out, no sooner had I sat my butt on my bed Ivan was in again another common coming to the net at 20.02.
Shortly after it was my turn with the left hand rod ripping off resulting in a nice 21 mirror, no sooner had I got it into the retainer the middle rod screamed off, after a good scrap a very welcome 22 common was in the net and now we had a predicament with both retainers and nets in use my right hand rod trundled off a short but good fight and another smaller common was at the net (albeit borrowed from next door) with this one pulling the scales round to 19.8 I decided a quick photo and straight back for this one.
All in all total carnage in two swims with two very happy chappies grinning like kids.
Thanks must go to the chap next door and new to the water he was quick to bring in his rods in order to lend a hand with the weighing and photography work and we mustn't forget creative baits MCN. doing with business with concept leads sending the hooks home. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking ๐
