2026 season has finally arrived!
It’s felt like a long winter, with Daniel having a new self built car, and Jamie switching cars things have been very time tight. But we’ve done it; we’re here and we can’t wait to get going again!

Season completed!

After competing in the last meeting of the year at Brands Hatch, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t end with no drama!

Daniel had a good weekend, and finished his last race of the season on Sunday with P4, and the Paul Winfield Winner of the race 🏆

Jamie had a good weekend, until Sunday, where we found that his car would not start no matter how hard the team worked to get it running, meaning his missed out on the last race of the year. Something was going to cause drama how could it not!

But now we’ve come to a close for the season, and we can’t thank everyone enough for the support,

Tony & Jack - being on the spanner’s through out the year at the meetings

Ryan - Being the behind the scene getting the cars ready for each meeting, ready for that winter strip down!

Dave & Carole - Coming out to help set the cars up for the weekends, and for always being a phone call away for additional support when we’re at the track. So glad you got to join us for the last one of the year

Roy Elbourn - for working with us for the year to trial new engines, it’s been a long year!

And to all our family, friends & supporters who’s watched and messaged each meeting cheering us on, thank you!

ITS FINALLY RACE WEEK!!! 🏁🏁

It’s been a long break since we last raced the civics at Oulton park, back on the 5th July, 10 weeks ago!! (Civic Cup officials, please note for next year, this is too long with no racing! 🤣)
But in true Petters Racing style, we’ve not been quite behind the scenes.

- Firstly, Daniel & Lauren'Jane welcomed their son Jaxon Kenneth Petters into the world on 22nd July at 2:47am. Their first baby, and the new future driver (fingers crossed!) and mechanic in training. Mum and Baby are well. Jaxon is now thriving and raring to get to the track and get some circuit racing under his belt.

- Secondly, our behind the scene mechanic Ryan, competed for the biggest title in Saloon Stock Cars on 9th August, the world championship. The biggest congratulations to Ryan because that night, he brought the World Champion title home!
We couldn’t be happier for you, and it’s nice to see that gold roof!

- Thirdly, Daniel took back to the short oval racing in his Saloon Stock Car where he competed at Mildenhall Stadium for the British Championship on the 30th & 31st August! After a good few weeks out, Daniel was keen to go again! Saturday was qualifying for the main race on Sunday. Daniel had some good races and qualified 9th on the grid for the British. We didn’t get to bring the title home this time, but Daniel finished the main race on Sunday in 6th position. The bug is back!!

But now, our eyes are focused on Snetterton this coming weekend 13th & 14th September! With…

Good morning from a questionable Oulton Park!
The weather can’t seem to make its mind up, but it’s definitely nice to be cooler.

This meeting is a one day meeting, so we have an extremely busy schedule today.

Qualifying is at 9:00
Race 1 is at 11:45
Race 2 is at 15:30

Good morning from a drizzly, much cooler Croft circuit

Yesterday the team was here testing and all seems well, for a Friday 13th and Team Petters racing anyway!

This weekend we have 3 races so a busy timetable

Saturday we have
Qualifying: 10:25
Race 1: 14:00
Race 2: 16:45

Sunday
Race 3: 13:45

Good morning from a drizzly Brands Hatch

We are back, and we are back with the addition of a RUNNING car for Daniel!

After a long couple of nights, a long couple of days, some almost failures, and one final reality check, the boys have done it. Test laps have been completed this morning and so far fingers crossed. Jamie’s car has also had the gearbox out and changed.

Race one - late update!

Jamie only made race one unfortunately, as the team decided to not rush putting the engine in for Daniel in case something was missed or forgotten.

Jamie had a fantastic race, was going really well and managed to climb up into P11. Finally the braking issues for Jamie had been resolved, and we were able to get him back on the pace!

So we thought….

10 laps into the race, Jamie suddenly started dropping down the order, with the field over taking him. What could have happened now?

His gearbox decided it didn’t want to run a 4th gear anymore, so it decided to let it go! 3rd gear was too high in the revs; 5th was too low. So there was no choice but for Jamie to retire the car!
The team strangely couldn’t have been happier though, even though an engine still going into Daniels, and now having to drop Jamie’s gearbox out and get that sorted and in again, the team still smiled. For a short time; Jamie’s car was finally sorted, giving the team a boost of hope that it so needed!

Good morning race fans!

We are back at Brands Hatch for the weekend with the civics for Daniel and Jamie.

Both had practice yesterday as usual for the Friday but this time we had a twist! Can you guess what that twist was?

If you guessed drama you would be right!

Daniels engine decided it didn’t want to take part any more this weekend, so the wonderful job of an engine change began! At 12:30 this morning the change completed and the car fired up into life…. But started leaking oil everywhere…. 1am Daniel & the team started trying to make a fix for the leak; but the crack in the block just wasn’t having it, time for some sleep to regroup in the morning!

Back to the track, engine number 2 coming out, whilst engine number 3 is collected and brought down to the track! Daniel won’t make qualifying today, but the team are determined to get him out on track for race 1!

Jamie thankfully had no issues, so will make qualifying today.
