🏃‍♀️🌳 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON IS COMING! 🌳🏃‍♂️

First event- 25th October.

It’s time to get those muddy trainers ready! 👟💨

We’d love to see as many Newmarket Joggers as possible getting involved in this season’s SOAR Suffolk Winter Cross Country League. (SWL)

📅 6 races across Suffolk
🏃‍♀️ Approximately 5 miles each
🌳 Proper cross country — trails, grass, mud and plenty of fun!
💙 FREE for Newmarket Joggers members!

That’s right — the club pays your entry fee for all six races! 🎉

The races are open to all full senior members and juniors! (excluding social-only members)

And remember, it’s not just about the front runners. Every runner contributes to the team, and last season showed just how important a big turnout and great team spirit can be. 💪💙

We run as a combined Newmarket & Sudbury Joggers team, so let’s get behind each other, make some noise and enjoy a few muddy Sunday mornings together! 🙌

🏆 ARKWRIGHTS/TURNER SUMMER SERIES – WHAT A SERIES! 🏆

A huge THANK YOU and WELL DONE to every Newmarket Jogger who pulled on their race shoes, and took part in any of this summer’s Arkwrights/Turner Summer Series races! 💙🤍

It’s been fantastic seeing so many of our runners representing the club, supporting each other and getting stuck into the series. 👏

🌟 BEST FEMALE – IZZY TALBOT-PRICE 🌟
A massive congratulations to Izzy, who not only took the Newmarket Joggers Best Female award, but went one step further and won the Female Trophy for the whole series! 🏆

Izzy was absolutely unstoppable, winning EVERY race she entered! What an incredible achievement. 👏🔥

🏆 BEST MALE – TOM HEMSLEY 🏆
Congratulations to one of our newest members Tom, who takes home the Newmarket Joggers Best Male award after a fantastic series of performances.

Sadly, Tom was away for the final race, but that certainly didn’t stop him making his mark on the series! A brilliant achievement from a brilliant runner. 👏💙

🥚 THE GOOD EGG AWARD – CHRIS AYLMER 🥚

And finally… we couldn’t be prouder of our very own Chris Aylmer, who was awarded the Good Egg Award – chosen from runners across ALL participating clubs! 🥚👏

Chris has thrown himself into the series with incredible commitment, travelling to races mostly by bicycle and train, producing his brilliant race reports and, of course, generally being the Good Egg we all know and love! 😂💙

A huge congratulations to all our winners and, most importantly, thank you to EVERY Newmarket Jogger who took part.

You’ve represented the club brilliantly. 💙🤍
