30 minute HITT workout to do on holiday!

Equipment
- Skipping rope
- Stop watch (phone)
- Good music

Warm up - jogging on the spot, calf raises, squats - get your heart rate going!

Skipping - 1 minute on 30 seconds rest. Don’t worry if you loose your footing. Pick back up and go again! If you don’t have a skipping rope, try and jump two footed for a minute! Imitate the skipping rope with your arms. X 5 rounds!

Running/jogging - stair runs or shuttle runs. Find two points and move between them. Repeat for 1 minute the rest for 30 seconds. X 5 rounds.

Repeat twice through + extra if you want a longer workout 🥵

The count down is on! Under 20 hours before our first team starts the competition.

We have 12 wonderful teams competing for this charity event. We are so excited to welcome you all. Please have a look at this post for last minute information.

Remember to arrive before your start time to get warmed up and talk to your adjudicator about dos and don’ts during the event.

If you have any last minute questions please let me know.

If you have a free morning on Saturday do come along and give the teams your support, eat some yummy cakes and look at the books for sale. All donations going to miracle miles team in aid of meningitis research foundation.

Here we go! RS fitness is hosting a cross fit training team competition on Saturday 28th February.

Everyone is welcome to enter a team, it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. No pressure to be the best, just enjoy the competition, and support a wonderful cause.

Raising money for the miracles miles team to run the London marathon! All the proceeds go to the Meningitis Research Foundation.

You can’t out-massage poor movement.

Massage can aid you in recovery, performance and pain relief. But it cannot do this on its own.

It is a wonderful tool when used with the right plan to strengthen, improve movement and reduce pain.

How can you continue with massage while also working towards your goals?

Add it into a structured plan as a way that makes the most sense: either see a professional or use your own knowledge to create a rehab/performance plan; add it in as an additional support after a taxing session, or the day before completing full range of movement exercises.

This way you utilise the massage to work towards your goals.

When you develop an injury, the first step is movement-based rehab, the second step is additions such as massage to support this.

Do not use massage as a fix for poor movement and structure.
