Here we are, the podium finishers for the Men’s Open category from Saturday’s inaugural Max Power competition hosted by The format was a mixture of powerlifting and strongman, with a yoke squat replacing conventional squat, log press replacing bench press, and silver dollar deadlift replacing standard deadlift. The highest achieved weight in each category was then combined to form the total weight, as in standard powerlifting competitions. Congratulations to and for really pushing each other through each of the three events to achieve their podium finishes. A big thank you must go@out to for doing the scoring, for refereeing, for the mic work, and for everything else. The competition couldn’t have happened without you all. We will definitely be holding this event again next year, so for all those wanting to compete in this exciting competition format, please keep an eye out.
