Excellent turn out at our Wednesday social session at Newcastle United Foundation🔥

We had 18 players on court, getting plenty of match practice💪🏻

Well done to Adrian and his mixed doubles partner Catherine, who won the mixed doubles tournament at Tyneside Badminton Centre at the weekend😃👏🏼

The pair came top of the group winning all their matches on route to victory… excellent stuff from both players🏆

A massive well done to Bethan, who is our first player of the quarter👏🏼

Bethan has been a big part of the club since we started last year and regularly attends social play sessions and represents the team in the North Yorkshire League💪🏻

Yesterday, we held our first Club Championship’s at Newcastle United Foundation🏆

23 players took part in our ladies doubles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles events💪🏻

There was some excellent matches throughout the day and it was great to see everyone having fun on court whilst trying to become the club’s first champions!

The committee presented the winners with brand new trophies and prizes at the end of the tournament.

A massive thank you to all the committee who organised the event and to all our members who contributed to sorting the food… you’re amazing🤩
