Dw Ryu Karate Club Welcome to Dw Ryu Karate Club. We are a Martial Arts Club based in St Aloysius Church Hall in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. New members are always welcomed!

We are located in Hebburn in Tyne and Wear, very close to the Hebburn Metro Station. Dw Ryu Karate offers martial arts training to all age groups regardless of experience. New starters without any previous experience are always welcome! Our training offers an effective martial arts package incorporating Karate, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and Jeet Kune Do, which give an effective range of techniques that

can be used against armed, un-armed and multiple attackers. Why learn martial arts? Unfortunately we live in an ever increasingly violet society. Karate and other martial arts are the oldest self-defence systems known to man and can give you the confidence to walk along a street without fear. Karate is also an excellent fitness aid and can help improve your general fitness as well as increase your flexibility. The human body is designed to move as many muscles and joints as possible and without doing so, your health can diminish. Often as we get older (or grow up) we stop using our body in the way we did as children and martial arts can help to regain your fitness and flexibility. Karate can help everyone, whether you are male or female, young or old...karate can help by teaching self-discipline and self-confidence and can improve your physical and mental fitness and co-ordination.

Hi everyone hope you are all well. Good news just to let you know karate is back on. We start at 7pm on Tuesday the first of March we are going to be on on Tuesdays 7-8 and Thursdays 7.30pm till 8.30pm. Cheers everyone thanks for your patience and hope you can make it

Hi hope everyone is keeping safe in these uncertain times. Just want to keep you updated about club and classes. Unfortunately the church hall is still closed and I am in contact with Ann and she is going to keep me informed of when we can begin classes again. Cheers Dave
