✔️Training is on today at Westmoor Community Centre.

❗️From 8th September, we’ll be back at our usual site — Tynemet College.

✅️We have spaces available in our U6, U8, U10, U14, U16 & U18 teams!

Good morning Tigers! 🐯

It’s been a little quiet — summer is always a quieter time before the season starts back up in September.

🏀Just a reminder that next week’s training is on Tuesday 25th August at Westmoor Community Centre.

❌️There will be no training on 1st September, and we’ll be back at Tynemet College at our usual times from 8th September.

❗️Payments & SPOND

It’s important to note that all payments anc communication are moving from the NEST platform to SPOND across the Eagles Community Foundation. This may cause a little confusion while everything is being fully transferred, so please bear with us during the changeover.

To make sure everyone receives notifications and has the most up-to-date information, please ensure you are in the SPOND app.

If you’re not currently in SPOND, please get in touch with Coach Gerda or Coach Kieran for the link to join.

📩New players & taster sessions

If you’re a new player wanting to join or try a taster session, you must complete the new taster form before attending. You will need to receive the email from the coach before hand confirming the attendance.

Great work from all the players who attended yesterday's session! The numbers were smaller, which meant everyone got plenty of repetitions, lots of individual skill development, and plenty of small-sided games.

🥇U10s Player of the week - Hayden! For working super hard and doing it all with the smile 💪

Our U14 players also had the opportunity to learn from the best, with Marc, the Eagles Head Coach, joining the session to share his expertise and coach the group.

🐯 Tigers Training – Summer Holidays Update 🐯

Training will continue throughout the summer holidays, but please note that sessions will be held at different locations and on different days while Tynemet Sports Hall is closed for the holiday period.

📍 Wednesday 29th July
Training will take place at Marden Bridge Sports Centre from 5:00pm–9:00pm Please check the SPOND app for your session time and any additional details.

📲 The SPOND app has the most up-to-date information, so please make sure you check it regularly for the latest training schedule and updates. If you have just joined but not yet in a SPOND app - please get in touch with the coach 🙏

👋 New taster players: If you've attended a taster session and would like to join Tigers, please send us a direct message for details of the appropriate training times.

What a way to finish our summer training sessions at Tynemet! 🏀☀️

Our U6s to U12s had an amazing time cooling off with epic water fights at the end of their sessions. From chucking water at each other, launching water balloons to working together to soak their teammates, everyone showed great teamwork, communication, and plenty of energy – all skills that are just as important on the basketball court!

It was a brilliant evening and it was fantastic to see everyone smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped organise the water balloons and stayed behind to help tidy up afterwards.

What a brilliant way to round off the summer sessions! 🧡🏀
